the village markets

For the past month and a half I've been stepping out into the big bad world with my decks under arm, my marquee in tow, and a whole hell-av-a-lotta thumbs ups being thrown in the mix too.

One such locale I've frequented is The Village Markets at Burleigh Heads State School.

It's hosted every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, and attracts about 100 pretty rockin' stalls.  Everything is quite fresh indeed (possibly a little on the chick-y side, but still quite dope).

Apparently the competition is fierce to get in, but I think we managed to snag a spot because we are doing something a little more dude orientated.  And, judging from the stoked looks on all of the 'dragged-along' boyfriend's faces, it all makes sense.

So point of the story is, if you think you're going to get 'dragged along' to some boring-ass markets, think again, there's skateboards at this one, and maybe it won't be so bad after-all.

See ya this weekend.
