but who will re-purpose the skateboards?

It's one thing to take some old timber and turn it into a slick little skateboard.  But what about turning an old skateboard into something new?

Well that's the vibe of Brissie makers, Holloway.

Over the past few months We've been heading north to check out their warehouse and muck around on a few ideas.  And, other than be inspired to continue our little journey, try and be as environmentally conscious as possible, and keep the stoke going we've also designed (with the lad's excellent input) a prototype Gentemstick-inspired skateboard.

We're only one version in, however after some decent testing, we'll get closer to having the first 90s snowboard replica on the market.

We're looking for that flowy feel, big powder carves and floaty turns.

In return, the boys are helping us to develop a pair of sunglasses from old skateboards (possibly even my own) to have in our line.

More to come.
